Healing Green Juice: Cleanse and Detoxify

Over time our bodies become toxic from our food, drinks, and environment. If left alone toxicity continues to build-up and eventually turns into disease and even worse, cancer, Alzheimer’s, etc. Detoxifying is easy but it’s up to you to be intentional and proactive. Juicing fresh vegetables is an excellent way to detox and is one of my top five methods. If you want to prevent disease or even heal from it starting here is a great start. Consider starting with a healing green vegetable juice such as this one to get going and then branch out from there.

Healing Green Juice: Cleanse and Detoxify

Juicing kale in my green juice was the second step in my healing process. I juiced for three weeks one to two times a day.

This green juice contains kale which is an incredible superfood. 1 cup of kale contains 190% of your Vitamin A, 90% of your Vitamin C, Vitamin K,  mega doses of B6, Manganese, Calcium, Copper, and Potassium.

With kale as the catalyst in this juice, you’re going to see and feel tremendous benefits because your body is able to absorb the live enzymes and nutrients immediately without having to digest it.

So here’s Healing Green Juice. Drink it every day if detoxing and even if you’re not. Your body will thank you for giving the anti-inflammatory system a break!

By the way, my kids love it. Great way to sneak veggies in!

Instructions
  1. Wash and prepare all veggies placing them in a large bowl. I use a large mixing bowl.
  2. I've learned to juice these in this order - kale, spinach, cilantro, celery, ginger, cucumber, lemon, green apple.
  3. Poor into glass cup and stir well.
  4. Clean the juicer immediately. You'll regret it if you don't. 🙂

  • You can sub it or skip it. You’ll still get everything you need without that one. Cilantro just adds an extra benefit of drawing out toxic metals from foods so your body can excrete them.
