Homemade Berry Yogurt

IMG_0649

Finding breakfast items for kids is hard. Everything is loaded with added sugar, preservatives, dies and gluten. The best option is to always make it from scratch yourself. It also needs to be something easy and fairly quick to whip up.

Enter my Homemade Berry Yogurt!

This yogurt is packed with natural probiotics and MCFA’s (or medium chain fatty acids). If you’re not familiar with kefir you need to get acquainted quickly. It’s #2 on my list of gut healing foods.

Kefir is in the category of “raw cultured dairy“. It can be found at some local grocers like Kroger and Whole Foods but most commonly found at farmers markets. It can be used in smoothies and any other recipe that you would add yogurt to.

This yogurt not only looks appealing but tastes incredible. The kids love it and you can even freeze them and make yogurt pops for snacks.

My kids love yogurt so this was a natural no-brainer. Try it today!
